Here are some upcoming projects that I am in the midst of completing.
“The first step - especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money - the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.”
- Chuck Palahniuk
If numbers had a life, what story would they tell? What personality would each number possess? What lessons would they teach us? This short story is a picture book that will teach young readers the value of a person, big or small, and seeks to celebrate the differences we all have.
'Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to (lion) dance in the rain."
A 32 year-old ex-convict who used to teach Lion Dancing lands himself a job teaching a group of grumpy old-folk how to Line Dance, only to realise that beyond just finding a new job, he has also found reconciliation with his elderly mother.
Buskers Singing 'Home'
Release: August 2015
'Home' (by Dick Lee), is Singapore's favourite National Day Song. This SG50, I gather a team of handicapped, aged, but very talented buskers to create a rendition of the song.
As we sing about our Home every National Day, let us not forget that Home belongs to the handicapped and aged too.
FINDING is 'I',
FUNDING is 'U'.
